The Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad is
excited to help celebrate the grand opening of the Beach Movie
Bistro!!!
The Beach Movie Bistro is a
family-friendly venue that plays a variety of new release films
in the regions highest quality movie-going experience (Sony 4k
digital cinema and Real D 3d technology). But the Beach Movie
Bistro is more than just an amazing theater, it features a menu
containing sliders, specialty thin-crust
pizzas, fresh local fish and other gourmet entrees. What’s more,
there’s a full-service bar with over 20 microbrews on draft and
in the bottle, a diverse wine list, and specialty cocktails.
And for opening weekend, we’re helping
them celebrate in style.
On Thursday join us for a midnight showing
of the brand-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”
On Saturday from 2-5pm bring the family to
meet members of our dive team and learn about some “summer
bummers” and water safety.
Can’t make it to either of these events?
Our volunteers will be there all weekend with a variety of the
tools of the trade (ambulances, our squad truck, and even our
rescue Cadillac), information about our stations, and ways to
get involved from supporting us to becoming a volunteer
emergency medical care provider.
And if all that isn’t enough, Beach Movie
Bistro is offering $1 popcorn and $1 soft drinks all weekend,
with all of the proceeds benefitting the Virginia Beach
Volunteer Rescue Squad.
So come on down to the
Beach Movie Bistro to check out their facilities, our
volunteers, and maybe even catch a movie or two. We can’t wait
