In the 8K run Tatyana
Pozdnyakova a native of the Ukraine who lives in Gainesville, Florida
set a worlds record as the fastest female masters 8K runner ever with
a record breaking time of 25:56, 19 seconds faster than Ruth
Wysocki’s old world mark.
Fred Getange from
Kenya won the marathon with a time of 2:25:55.
Marathon EMS calls
were also at a record low. A special thank you to our neighboring
squads for sending units and personnel to assist with the standby.
