The 2005 NAS Oceana Air Show was held on September 16,17,18. Ambulances from the U.S. Navy and Rescue 14 along with transport units from several of our sister volunteer squads were on hand to support the volunteer and navy medical teams at the 3 air shows.
Virginia Beach EMS bike and ATV teams provided rapid intervention all along with the flight lines. During the day shows when the temperature on the tarmac exceeded ninety degrees all EMS crews were kept busy and a number of patients were transported to local hospitals.
