On October 28th Virginia Beach Fire and EMS units were dispatched to the new Hilton Hotel Parking Garage located at 31st and Atlantic Avenue for a reported car fire on the second level.

 First arriving units report heavy smoke showing on the Pacific Avenue side of the parking garage.

A working fire was declared. The fire was shortly declared under control but not before consuming 3 vehicles. No injuries were reported.

 Four engines,  Two ladders,  a division fire chief, a battalion fire chief, a EMS brigade chief and one ambulance were assigned to the alarm.
