07-22-2006 Allen Stone Run standby

On July 22nd Rescue 14 provided a standby at the ocean front for the Allen Stone Run-Swim-Run 5K.

This is an annual event to honor Navy Seal Allen Stone and to raise funds for the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Rescue 14 volunteers Bobby Hill, Ron Bauman, Jim Heartwell, Susan Bauman, Deb Larkins, Kyle Padgett, Cathy Rosenberry, Ann Morse, Judy Jackson and Sylvia Russell staffed a medical station, one ALS ambulance, one ALS Cart, 1 all-terrain vehicle, and 1 four wheel drive pickup truck.

Congratulations go out to Rescue 14 members Andy Bedinger, Jay Leach and our legal advisor Kevin Martingale for participating in the run-swim-run event.
