| Second Annual Cherry Blossom Festival - April 9, 2006 On April 9th the Second Annual Cherry Blossom Festival was held at Red Wing Park to recognize the ties and to honor the "Spirit of Volunteerism" bond between Virginia Beach and her sister city Miyazaki Japan. Rescue 14 members Bobby Hill and Judy Jackson attended the festival which included performances by the Virginia Beach Koto Society and the Old Dominion University kendo samurai martial arts group.
