May 2006 - Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) Training Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Captain Gary Hoffman along with several other local EVOC Instructors gave up a beautiful May Saturday morning to guide a new group of EMT Recruits through the dreaded cone course. A big thank you to the Ocean Park Volunteer Rescue and the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue for the loan of a couple of box ambulances. The Recruits returned them in full working order, not a single scratch.
