Rescue 14 Banquet & Installation of Officers
 

The Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad held its banquet and installation of officers on January 13, 2007 at the Cavalier Hotel.

Virginia Beach EMS Chief Bruce Edwards administered the oath of office to David Whitley Captain, Susan Bauman Lieutenant of Operations, Virginia Gilpin Lieutenant of Administration, Richard Doub Sergeant of Maintenance, Judy Jackson Sergeant of Training, Kyle Padgett Sergeant of the Squad Truck, Gary Hoffman Sergeant of Equipment, Ron Bauman Sergeant of Supplies, Dale Leonard Sergeant of Facilities, Janet Stinson Secretary, Rick Flack Treasurer, Tom Harp Fund Drive Officer and Annette Ring Public Relations Officer.

A few of the members receiving special recognition include Ann Morse Squadsman of the Year, Bob and Susan Werby Admin Members of the Year, Annette Ring Rookie of the Year N. Allen Squad Truck Member of the Year and Bobby Hill Captains Award.

For 30 years of service Randy Pugh, Jack Dye and Bobby Hill. For 25 years of service Roy Tydings. For 20 years of service Ann Morse, Ronnie Yancey and Sturgis Kidder. For 10 years of service Jim Cromwell. For 5 years of service Vaughn Roeder, Janet Stinson and Woody Leonard.
