On February 2, 2007 at 1600 hours, Rescue 14, Unit 1421BLS, Duty Squad 14, Zone Medic 14, EMS-5 along with Battalion 1, Engine 11 and Ladder 11 were dispatched to a report MVA with an entrapment at Birdneck Road and Laskin Road.

Battalion 1 arrived on the scene just after the initial dispatch and response of all units and reported no entrapment, and to cancel Squad 14.

The patient, the driver of the sedan was transported to the Sentara Beach Trauma Center.
