On February 28 2007 The Virginia Beach Police requested one ambulance to be dispatched to a reported MVA on South Birdneck Road for a minor injury. Day crew Bobby Hill and Mike Rogers in 1424R were assigned the case. Upon arrival a scene assessment determined that additional resources would be needed to assist in removing the patient and to act as a barrier in stopping early morning rush hour traffic.

EMS 6 and Engine 14 assisted with blocking traffic and providing additional manpower in back boarding and removing the patient.
