The Shamrock Marathon came to down in mid March. It was an exciting weekend at the oceanfront.

A half marathon took place on Saturday March 15th and on Sunday March 16th runners filled the oceanfront for a full marathon.

The weather on Saturday was fantastic. Rain moved in Saturday evening but stopped just before the full marathon runners hid the roadways early Sunday morning around 5am.

The weather was cloudy and a little cool. Just right for running.

EMS Volunteers from the 10 city squads manned medical tents, ATV's and  several transport ambulances. Fortunately only a few runners required medical care and most were treated for minor injuries and released.
